Bees

We had attended a bee-keeping course in the February of 2012 and made several visits to our association apiary during the following summer and our thoughts started to turn to having our very own colony. At first we had tried to work out where we might keep the hive but over time our back garden presented the best option. Although we have a fairly small garden we back onto open countryside and as our neighbours are all very keen on the idea this is our plan.
