Close up in the middle we have the unmarked queen.


Our newly marked queen; having read how to do it I used the queen cage and pinned her down gently (!) Hopefully we will be able to spot her more easily next week.

      Yes, they seem to like it here and find plenty of forage coming back with their little legs laden with pollen. :-)
